12 core optical fiber distribution box is a modular pre terminated optical fiber distribution box. Its front end is equipped with 6 / 12 LC duplex adapter connectors or SCand other types of connectors, and its rear end is equipped with 1 MPO / MTP adapter connector. MPO / MTP to LC / SC branch optical fiber jumper is placed in the box.12 core optical fiber distribution box is mainly used to realize the safe conversion between MPO / MTP connector and LC or SC connector. It is generally used for optical fiber backbone connection and distribution management in Internet Data Center (IDC), Main Distribution Area (MDA) or Equipment Distribution Area (EDA).
How to connect 12 core optical fiber distribution box with the 40G 100G optical module?
Since the interface type of 40G/100G SR4 optical moduleis MPO, we only need to connect the 40G/ 100G SR4 optical module with 12 core optical fiber distribution box with one MPO multimode jumper, then place four 12 core optical fiber distribution boxes in 1U optical fiber distribution box, and finally use LC optical fiber jumper to connect 12 core optical fiber distribution box or other equipment.(The connection diagram as below:)
