The 100G QSFP28 SR4 has a 4-channel full duplex transceiver module, with a data transmission rate of up to 27.952 Gbps per channel and a low power consumption of less than 2.5W. It is packaged in QSFP hot swappable mode and has an 8/12 core MTP/MPO interface. By pairing with multimode fiber, the maximum transmission distance can reach 100M, with built-in digital diagnostic function (DDM).

The 100G QSFP28 SR4 optical module mainly consists of five parts: the first clock recovery module, array driver module, excitation and emission module, photoelectric conversion module, and electrical signal processing module, without the need for an optical multiplexer. Its working principle: When transmitting signals at the transmitting end, the electrical signals are converted into optical signals through 4 array lasers, and then transmitted in parallel on a strip multimode fiber. When reaching the receiving end, the 4 array photodiodes convert the parallel optical signals into parallel electrical signals.
