In this blog, Walsun will focus on introducing the type and transmission distance of the 100M single-mode SFP BIDI SC connector optical module. This series of optical modules can not only support 3km, 10km, 20km, 40km, 80km and other transmission distances, but also have commercial (0℃-70℃) and industrial (-40℃-85℃) optional temperature ranges. In order to facilitate you to understand this series of optical modules, Walsun has compiled a list for you to inquire.
| PN | Package | Wavelength(nm) | Distance | Connector | Fiber type |
| ESB3503-3SCD3 | SFP | 1310/1550 | 3km | SC | Single mode |
| ESB3403-3SCD20 | SFP | 1310/1490 | 20km | SC | |

| ESB4303-3SCD20 | SFP | 1490/1310 | SC | ||
| ESB3403-3SCD40 | SFP | 1310/1490 | 40km | SC | |
| ESB3503-3SCD40 | SFP | 1310/1550 | SC | ||
| ESB4503-3SCD80 | SFP | 1490/1550 | 80km | SC |

100M single-mode SFP BIDI is widely used in SDH STM-1, SONET OC-3 IR1, LR1, LR2 and other scenarios. Compared with the 100M dual-fiber optical module, the 100M single-fiber bidirectional optical module has the advantage of saving optical fibers, because the use of a dual-fiber optical module requires two optical fibers for transmission, while a single-fiber bidirectional optical module only needs one for transmission. Finally, we would like to remind you that 100M single-mode SFP BIDI needs to be used in pairs.
