The conventional 25G SFP28 optical module consists of SR, LR, and ER. The SR can be transmitted to 100 m with the multi-mode OM4 optical fiber, while the LR and ER optical modules can be transmitted to 10 km and 40 km respectively through the OS2 single-mode optical fiber.

The transmitter of Walsun 25G BIDI optical module adopts the uncooled DFB TO form, the central wavelength is 1270nm/1330nm respectively, and the receiver adopts the highly sensitive 25G PIN TO form, the receiving wavelength is 1330nm/1270nm respectively. The product adopts the mature optical device coaxial packaging process platform, realizes the bidirectional single fiber, the optical port rate is 25.78Gbps, can support the transmission distance of 10KM, 40KM.
