The Gigabit single-mode optical module is one of the optical modules in the series of SFPs. It is called LX for short. Its connector is duplex LC, and the maximum speed can reach 1.25Gbps. It can be used together with OS2 singleimode fiber patch cord, and the maximum transmission distance can reach 10km. The central wavelength of Walsun LX is 1310nm. It is equipped with imported FP transmitter and PIN detector. The gold finger adopts nano thickened gold-plated points to prevent poor contact. It supports repeated hot plugging and stable contact.

In addition to meeting the Gigabit Ethernet standard, the 1.25G SFP LX optical module is also compatible with 1G fibre channel and synchronous optical network. It is mainly used in Gigabit Ethernet switches, routers, Gigabit FC fibre channel switches and other network equipment.
The operating temperature range of LX module has commercial (0℃-70℃) and industrial(- 40℃-85℃). Commercial LX module is suitable for indoor constant temperature environment, while industrial LX module is suitable for outdoor harsh environment with changeable temperature in four seasons.
The LX module has its own DDM function, which can monitor the laser bias current, power supply voltage, transmitting light power, module working temperature and receiving sensitivity in real time. It can quickly locate the fault point and ensure the work efficiency.
The 1.25G SFP LX optical module (ES3112-3LCD10) of Walsun is consistent with Huawei’s SFP-GE-LX-SM1310 and Cisco’s GLC-LH-SM in terms of wavelength, transmitting optical power, receiving sensitivity, transmission distance and other parameters. Both Huawei switches and Cisco switches are compatible.
